Commercial Stand Mixer Bought refurbished off kitchenaid website in Nov 2012 because it was much cheaper than Amazon but the warranty is only 6 Months instead of two years becuase it was refurbished.We use it in home kitchen. Plenty big for a double batch of cookies or cake. Plenty of power we only brought it up to half speed. Need to start slow or it makes a mess in the kitchen. Must take off the beater before removing the bowl. Can not tip our two cup mesuring cup into so have to ladle out the flour. Can tip the one cup into the bowl. All the attachements for the other kithenaid stand mixers fit this one also. The beater can be cleaned in dishwasher but it will discolor. Easy to clean have not found a splash guard or pouring ledge for this like the smaller bowls have. Dont think I could use a smaller bowl with this because the bowl attaches to the stand on 3 sides. Had I known then what I know now I would have gotten the 600 Professional tilt... I've upgraded to the nex size each time. This commerical mixer kneads stiff bread dough with ease. However it seems to take longer to whip cream and egg whites.
